(Nearing the) End of Pregnancy Pictures

Well, it didn't take me as long as I thought it would to post these....I think I was too excited not to get them up! Now I have to get to work on some other projects!

Where are we supposed to look?

No, Peanut over here!

Um, JuneBug look here at the camera!

Maybe this isn't going to work after all....

This really isn't looking good...

Boys!

There! Everyone is looking and (mostly) smiling.

The rest of the post won't be as silly. Please click the "read more" button below for my favorite pictures of the day!

Pool Time

The last couple of days have been "swimming days" since it has been so hot. We moved the pool into the shade so it would be safer.

Cousins

The boy's cousin Malcolm (and my sister Katie) came for a visit today. Malcolm is such a happy little fella! This is the first time they have been together since Malcolm's birth so we thought we should get some pictures of them together. It was a great idea...until we had grumpy boys. :D

Yeah! We are outside!

No one was particularly cheese-y today.

Keeping them happy (for a moment)- a box of raisins and some keys.

We were all getting a little tired and hot but Malcolm expresses it best. LOL.

Back inside where it was cooler they played happily.

And Aunt Katie read to them.

Taking after his Aunt K

When my sister K was little (under 2) she lost her front tooth by throwing a temper tantrum. Peanut has followed in her tracks. Although it wasn't through a temper tantrum. He was playing (or getting into trouble) in the other room and got into Ike's tools. He fell with a tool apparently in his mouth and cracked his tooth. At first we thought it might be okay but as the days passed we noticed that half of the tooth was falling out. To make a long story short, we visited a children's dentist and they pulled the whole thing to prevent infection. Now until his adult teeth come in he will be one baby tooth short!
His smile before the accident

Here you can see the part of the tooth coming out (top right)

Since he was so young we did not want him put under anesthesia to get the tooth taken out. But they did do a local numbing- here we are on the way home. The dentist gave him a little toy and he loved holding the little bottle of toothpaste. :D

His cute little grin now.

Peelin' Carrots

Wanting to be a helper-boy, JuneBug wanted to know if he could help me peel carrots. I was somewhat hesitant but allowed him to help.
Peeling his first carrot
Thankfully he kept his hand well back from the peeler.
Peanut content with a carrot stick. I wonder what I'm going to do when the BOTH want to help! :D

Before and After... and in between

The beginning
For future reference masking tape does not fix holes in the walls. As you see the old owners "fixed" the holes and painted over them! :D

 Beginning to paint
The boys playing (trying to stay out of the trouble)

 Being a helper boy

 Getting closer to the finish

 Ike seeing the "new" room
 Helping clean up
 Bathroom- Done!
 Bringing in the furniture again.

All done!
