Taking after his Aunt K

When my sister K was little (under 2) she lost her front tooth by throwing a temper tantrum. Peanut has followed in her tracks. Although it wasn't through a temper tantrum. He was playing (or getting into trouble) in the other room and got into Ike's tools. He fell with a tool apparently in his mouth and cracked his tooth. At first we thought it might be okay but as the days passed we noticed that half of the tooth was falling out. To make a long story short, we visited a children's dentist and they pulled the whole thing to prevent infection. Now until his adult teeth come in he will be one baby tooth short!
His smile before the accident

Here you can see the part of the tooth coming out (top right)

Since he was so young we did not want him put under anesthesia to get the tooth taken out. But they did do a local numbing- here we are on the way home. The dentist gave him a little toy and he loved holding the little bottle of toothpaste. :D

His cute little grin now.

Oh dear! Poor little guy! I'm glad it was only his tooth that was injured though. And I have to agree with KT - He does look cute with that toothless grin! :-)
