Cousins

The boy's cousin Malcolm (and my sister Katie) came for a visit today. Malcolm is such a happy little fella! This is the first time they have been together since Malcolm's birth so we thought we should get some pictures of them together. It was a great idea...until we had grumpy boys. :D

Yeah! We are outside!

No one was particularly cheese-y today.

We were all getting a little tired and hot but Malcolm expresses it best. LOL.

Back inside where it was cooler they played happily.

Last Nap with a Paci

I didn't know it at the time but this was Peanut's last nap with his paci. I decided that I would try a nap without it to see how he did and it was okay. So we determined we would take it away cold turkey. We have only had some minor trouble from it so far, thankfully!

Taking after his Aunt K

When my sister K was little (under 2) she lost her front tooth by throwing a temper tantrum. Peanut has followed in her tracks. Although it wasn't through a temper tantrum. He was playing (or getting into trouble) in the other room and got into Ike's tools. He fell with a tool apparently in his mouth and cracked his tooth. At first we thought it might be okay but as the days passed we noticed that half of the tooth was falling out. To make a long story short, we visited a children's dentist and they pulled the whole thing to prevent infection. Now until his adult teeth come in he will be one baby tooth short!

Since he was so young we did not want him put under anesthesia to get the tooth taken out. But they did do a local numbing- here we are on the way home. The dentist gave him a little toy and he loved holding the little bottle of toothpaste. :D

Fun with Friends

The other week we helped some friends move to a new house. But I didn't really get any pictures of the move....just of the kids playing!
