Birthday Treat

I got a coupon in the mail for a free cup of ice cream and since the boys were good at the store AND it was Peanut's birthday I decided to give it to the boys. (I only took a bite or two!)

We received this barrel from some friends and while we were thinking of what to use it for Ike came up with this temporary idea.....

The boy's cousin Malcolm (and my sister Katie) came for a visit today. Malcolm is such a happy little fella! This is the first time they have been together since Malcolm's birth so we thought we should get some pictures of them together. It was a great idea...until we had grumpy boys. :D

We were all getting a little tired and hot but Malcolm expresses it best. LOL.

The other week we helped some friends move to a new house. But I didn't really get any pictures of the move....just of the kids playing!

Peelin' Carrots

Wanting to be a helper-boy, JuneBug wanted to know if he could help me peel carrots. I was somewhat hesitant but allowed him to help.

Puzzle Boy

Yesterday we found Thomas the Tank Engine Puzzles on clearance. When we got home JuneBug was anxious to put them together. He wanted me to help him and I thought I would probably have to since they were 24 piece puzzles. Junebug had so much fun! Then today he wanted to do it again. However, I was busy freezing strawberries so I couldn't help him right then. I told him to try by himself and I would give direction if he needed help. At first he said he couldn't do it but then he got busy and had it put together in a matter of minutes. I was quite impressed! Sometimes I think I'm the one holding him back from growing his mind. :( Here are a couple of pictures of the puzzle he did all by himself.
