Just Some Pictures...

Behold, the Fort!

Hold the Fort!

(Note: those are toy weapons)

Some firewood.

Some friends of ours (The M's) came to visit us this week, and we played backyard football, or, as we call it, Carolina football (the rules are NOT the same as in regular football:)

The original architect and builder of the fort (Mr. M) takes a look at the recent paint job.

Thanksgiving (in Ohio)

I had the honor of spending Thanksgiving with a friend of mine and her family.

"Where's the turkey?" (Isn't that why we're here?)

"Here I am!" (Gobble, gobble!)

(Ha ha!)

A sweet little girl.

Another sweet little girl.

Yet another sweet little girl (i.e., the baby:))

YumYum.

I'll try to put more on here next week.

Visiting Friends

On Friday, my family and I went to a barbecue that some old friends made for us. We met them at the Psalm Sing three weeks ago, the first we had seen them in almost five years.

Overrun!

Our hostess was asking me what I would like to drink.

She was ready to eat!

Fellowship and Psalm-singing after the meal.

House-warming.

These two were being a bit rowdy and had to be arrested.

I take my smiling face wherever I go! (It's a little big for my pocket, though)

Saying goodbyes, but hopefully it won't be five years before we see them again.

Patience!

Please be patient. It might be a few days before I can get the Psalm Sing pictures on here as I might be away from the office working (HA!)

Psalm Sing (GPC)

We had a Psalm Sing at our church October 6. If a picture is worth a thousand words, maybe I'll be able to save a few thousand and put in the pix.

Here we are getting ready to go!

Waiting for people to show up

Travis is in the white shirt, Tyler in the red/white.

Posing for a group photo

Talking, fellowship, &c.

A discussion concerning little boys and drink. (Really!)

The food was wonderful, as always. (Why do think so many turned out?)

Opa (Mr. Phelps)

I got this when I. realized it was too late to hide.

Oma (Mrs. Phelps)

Children doing graffiti on the chalkboard. (Nothing bad, though)

Psalm Sing (PRC)

I took my camera along to a Psalm Sing we went to on Friday. However, when I tried to start taking pictures, the batteries starting threatening self destruction (OK, they just went dead).
This is as far as I got.

And that's as far as it got! Sorry!
